Placer County, CA, – PEACE for Families (now Stand Up Placer) announces the hiring of Meg Patterson, MFT, as the new Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Program Manager. Ms. Patterson will manage and provide direct oversight for all clinical services provided by the agency and oversee the training and clinical work of PEACE staff therapists and trainees. Her experience and expertise will assist PEACE in the continued development of comprehensive clinical services for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Ms. Patterson has specialized in work with survivors of trauma in both private practice and mental health settings for over 25 years. She has extensive experience in program development and administration, including implementation of clinical training programs for therapy interns.

Meg Patterson, MFT, holds a Master of Science degree from San Jose State University and has been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 1987. She has been a Certified Clinical Supervisor for therapy interns since 1999.
Stand Up Placer is dedicated to ending the legacy of abuse by providing survivors of domestic and sexual violence with services and resources and fostering communities where abuse is not tolerated. Stand Up provides a 24-hour crisis line (800-575-5352), emergency domestic violence shelter, and service offices in Roseville and Auburn where victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families/significant others may receive therapy, legal advocacy, assistance and resources at no charge.
