Rocklin, Calif.- On June 2, 2015 at about 10:40 am, Rocklin Police detectives arrested Christine Ann Cooper of Elk Grove for embezzling over $129,000 of her now 85 year old mom’s trust funds.
After several months of investigation, it was determined that Cooper had embezzled the funds over a nine year period. As the account trustee, Cooper wrote checks to herself from the accounts and falsified account statements to conceal her theft.

Rocklin PD Detectives investigating the case effected the arrest at Cooper’s place of business in Sacramento. Cooper was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Placer County Jail in Auburn, where she was booked for the below listed charges.
Christine Ann Cooper, 62 years old, of Elk Grove, Ca was arrested and booked on the following charges:
- 368 (d) PC (Elder abuse/theft from elder $400+)
- 503 PC (Embezzlement $400+)
- 470 (d) PC (Forgery)
