Roseville Burglaries Lead to Arrests

Roseville, Calif.- On Monday, Roseville Police detectives wrapped up a lengthy investigation with the arrest of an Elverta man suspected of several burglaries and other crimes in Roseville and the surrounding area.

Two of his associates were arrested for separate crimes the next day.

In early December, Roseville Police officers investigated the overnight burglary of a motorcycle dealership, in which a red BMW SUV was seen on video surveillance.  As they looked into other cases and shared information with neighboring agencies, they discovered several commercial and residential burglaries and other property crimes in the region where a red BMW SUV was used.

Officers identified Dylan Thomas Kunin, age 29 of Elverta as the suspect, and on Monday, June 29,  they contacted Kunin at a Sacramento County Court, and arrested him in connection with the following crimes:

  • The burglary of a motorcycle service shop in Roseville in September, 2014
  • The burglary of a motorcycle dealership in Roseville in December, 2014
  • The burglary of a car at  Foothills Boulevard fitness center in December, 2014,  followed by the fraudulent use of the victim’s stolen credit cards
  • The theft of two high-end bicycles from a parking lot in the 6800 block of Douglas Boulevard in February, 2015

Kunin was booked on suspicion of burglary, credit card fraud, grand theft and conspiracy, and is being held in the Placer County Jail on $100,000 bail.  Neighboring agencies are also investigating Kunin in connection with other burglaries and property crimes.

After Kunin’s arrest on Monday, Roseville detectives found out that Kunin rode to his Sacramento County court appearance on a stolen motorcycle.   On Tuesday, they conducted a probation search of Kunin’s associate’s home in Rio Linda and found the motorcycle, which had been stolen few days prior from San Jose; a trailer that had been stolen from the east Sacramento area in 2013; drugs and a handgun.

The resident, Aaron Michael Gamboa, age 38 of Rio Linda, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle, being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, and probation violation.  Beverly June Cramblit, age 32 of Rio Linda, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle and possessing methamphetamine.  Both were booked into the Sacramento County Jail.
