Roseville, Calif.- Started by a group of teenage girls, Roseville Run for Freedom is a charity 5k that aims to raise awareness about human trafficking and funds for a local non-profit, The Grace Network. The Grace Network uses those funds to help trafficked victims, survivors, and at-risk youth in the greater Sacramento area.
The second annual Roseville Run for Freedom will be held on March 5th at Maidu Regional Park. Join us the morning of the run for registration at 8:15 AM sharp. The race starts officially at 9:15 AM. 100% of proceeds go to The Grace Network.
Sacramento is one of the top five cities in the nation for human trafficking. Roseville Run for Freedom is dedicated to empowering the Sacramento area to stand up against this crime. Our founder Philothea Taylor says that “it’s easy to think, ‘someone else will handle this’, or ‘it’s not my responsibility’ but we all live around Sacramento. It’s a responsibility that every single one of us shares. If we don’t fight it, who will?”
