Stand Up Placer Receives $10,000 Grant from Wells Fargo

Roseville, Calif.- Stand Up Placer received a generous grant award of $10,000 from Wells Fargo. Stand Up Placer is a local non-profit that provides comprehensive services to domestic violence , sexual assault, and human trafficking survivors throughout Placer County including; Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Auburn, and as far northeast as Colfax and Incline Village.

Stand Up Placer Executive Director, Michelle Coleman, explains “Generous grant investments, such as this one from Wells Fargo, allow us to allocate funds with greater strategic agility. We are excited to have Wells Fargo as a partner to support our community service programs.” Beyond grant awards, Wells Fargo has been an active community partner Placer over the years. Wells Fargo employees at local branches have volunteered at several events and regularly reach out to offer help with the domestic violence survivors that Stand Up Placer serves.

Ms. Coleman adds, “Wells Fargo and Stand Up Placer share a set of core values; we are both committed to building a safe community with respect for human rights. Wells Fargo’s commitment to our work is exemplary.”

Ms. Coleman invites the community to join Stand Up Placer in its efforts to end domestic violence and sexual assaults in Placer County.
