Auburn, Calif.- Veronica Blake, Chief Executive Officer of Placer Community Foundation, was appointed to the Board of Directors of the League of California Community Foundations.Â
In this role, Blake will share with other foundations what she’s learned about addressing community needs in Placer County such as hunger, youth development, literacy, and economic development, as well as best practices for managing a foundation.
“I’m grateful to be working with a dedicated group of colleagues to advance community philanthropy throughout our state,” Blake said of her appointment.
Comprised of 29 community foundations, the purpose of LCCF is to support and strengthen community philanthropy throughout California, with a focus on education and training programs for foundations as well as information sharing and technical assistance.
