42-0 rout almost identical to last year’s drubbing
Rocklin, Calif. – The Whitney Wildcats hosted this year’s 2024 Rocklin Quarry Bowl against local rivals the Rocklin Thunder.
This annual rivalry generates plenty of local excitement and hype, although in the end the game was another rout with the Rocklin Thunder dominating all night. The final score was a shutout of 42-0.
This year marked the 14th annual matchup as the Thunder improved to a 5-1 record before facing Davis Sr. Football next week. The Wildcats slumped to to 2-4 and square off against Granite Bay on Friday.
Next year’s Quarry Bowl returns to Rocklin High School.
