Roseville residents are invited to attend a dedication ceremony beginning at 10 a.m., Sat., July 5, highlighting the opening of the City’s fifty-seventh park. This four acre park serves the residential community in the Highland Reserve area and is located at 9501 Highland Park Drive.
Pineschi Sr. Park contains a children’s play and swing area, a covered picnic area with shade, half court for basketball, and a multi-use turf area.
Aldo Pineschi Sr. moved to Roseville in 1927 and worked for the Pacific Fruit Express for twenty years. Aldo became the Personnel/Purchasing Manager for the City of Roseville in 1965 and in 1970 was promoted to Assistant City Manager. He was active in many charities, including Sons of Italy and Roseville Sunrise Lions. Aldo Pineschi Sr. passed away in 2003 in Roseville at the age of 79.
