Jim Gray selected as Roseville’s New Mayor

Appointment fills vacancy left by Rockholm departure

Roseville, Calif.- The Roseville City Council selected Jim Gray as new Mayor, and added a new member with the appointment of Carol Garcia.

The special Wednesday meeting was held to fill the vacancy left by former Mayor Rocky Rockholm, who was sworn in to the Placer County Board of Supervisors on Monday.

“It’s an honor to be chosen as Mayor by my colleagues on the Council, and I look forward to serving the residents of Roseville,” said Gray, whose mayoral term will run through November 2008.

“We have great things ahead of us and we’re going to continue working hard to sustain the amazing quality of life Roseville is known for.”

She also established the South Placer UCD Breast Cancer Endowment, is a graduate of Sacramento State University and a lifelong Roseville resident.
