Accepting applications for June 2022 pageant
Roseville, Calif. – The Placer County Scholarship Pageants traditionally take place during the Placer County Fair. , the third week in June.
As part of the scoring, young ladies will compete in personal interview, swim wear (fitness wear for juniors) and formal wear, as well as answering an on-stage question. The Miss Placer County title is a pageant with a scholarship, gift, and prize package.
The Placer County Fair Association awarded the production to UP Pageantry in 2015 after reviewing responses from a public Request For Proposals. Although the pageant has been part of the fair since 1937, the pageant had passed from one producer to the next infrequently and informally in the past.
UP Pageantry is owned and operated by Tami Uhler, a former prosecutor who has over 30 years in all aspects of the pageant industry. Uhler is a graduate of Del Oro High school and U.S.C., and has been a Placer County resident since 1975.
