Roseville daytime burglary interrupted Fifteen Mile Drive

Roseville, Calif- At about 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, a resident of the 600 block of Fifteen Mile Drive heard her doorbell ring. She was busy upstairs and decided not to answer her door. A few minutes later, she heard the sound of a downstairs bedroom window breaking. As the resident walked downstairs to investigate, she encountered a stranger walking up her stairs. The stranger fled out the front door.

The burglar was described as an Asian male in his 20s, approximately 5’7″ tall and 160 pounds, clean-shaven, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a light brown short-sleeved shirt, light brown shorts, and gray gloves. He was seen driving away from the area in a dark green 1990s model four-door sedan, possibly a Honda Accord.

Several similar daytime burglaries have been reported in Roseville recently, where suspects rang doorbells first to see if anyone was home. Residents are reminded to call 911 if they see any suspicious activity, including strangers going door to door. Give dispatchers a description of the subjects and any associated vehicles, including license plate numbers if possible.

Anyone with information about this or any other crime is asked to call the Roseville Police Department Investigations Unit at (916)774-5070, or Roseville Crime Stoppers at (916)783-7867. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips.
