Sacramento Library Free Lunch Program for Kids

13 Participating Locations

Sacramento, Calif.  – Sacramento Public Library’s annual Lunch @ the Library will return this summer to provide children and teens with healthy lunches.

The program, which runs from June 12 to August 3, will provide meals from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays to children from 0-18 years of age. There are no qualifications for children to receive the meals.

By providing healthy lunches at the Library, children are not only physically energized to learn and grow, but mentally engaged with the Library’s books and computers to keep them learning throughout summer.

Children and their parents can both participate in the Summer Reading program while at the Library, which provides a book to keep for those who complete the program.

The participating local libraries are:

Arcade Library
2443 Marconi Ave., Sacramento, CA 95821

Colonial Heights Library
4799 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95820
