Contest seeks input on naming Woolly Mammoth
Yabba dabba doo! We have another naming contest for you!
Corona, CA- Hey Pals! Where’s your get up and go? Help us name the Woolly Mammoth coming soon to Mountain Gate Park!
Last fall, we invited our community to vote on park vendors and themes for Mountain Gate, Cresta Verde, and Tehachapi Parks. So many of you got together to prioritize, conceptualize, and tenderize. We heard you!
Name the Wooly Mammoth
Now, our team is on track to start construction at Mountain Gate Park, and we need your help! The park features a friendly Woolly Mammoth – can You help us name it?
If you’ve got ideas, hand em’ over! We’re collectin’ them for our naming contest now through April 18, 2021.
Your Parks & Recreation Commissioners will narrow down the entries and the best five names will be chosen and given to City Council to pick the best one. The winning name will have a plaque added to our Woolly Mammoth.
