Rocklin Chamber of Commerce CEO Announces Retirement After 20 Years of Service

Longtime leader leaves lasting legacy after two decades of service to Rocklin’s business community

Rocklin, Calif. – After two decades of dedicated leadership, Robin Trimble, Chief Executive Officer of the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce, has announced plans to retire early next year.

During her 20-year tenure, Trimble, has guided the Chamber through a period of significant growth and transformation, strengthening the organization’s role as a vital resource for businesses and the broader Rocklin community. Under her leadership, the Chamber expanded its membership base, launched key community initiatives, and built lasting partnerships that continue to fuel local economic vitality. Trimble was recognized in 2024 with the City of Rocklin’s prestigious Ruhkala Award, as was the Chamber’s Leadership Rocklin Program.

“Highlight of my career”

“It has been an incredible honor to serve the Rocklin business community for the past 20 years,” said Trimble. “Working alongside our dedicated board, and engaged members has been the highlight of my career. Together, we’ve built a Chamber that not only supports business success but also enhances the spirit of our entire community.”

“Robin’s leadership has been a critical factor in supporting and growing the Rocklin area business community,” said Kim Summers, 2025 Chair of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and CEO of Placer Valley Tourism.

Advocacy

“Her advocacy for our local businesses has made a huge difference, going above and beyond the position to strengthen our economy,” Summers said. “Her leadership during COVID-19 was critical as businesses faced the extraordinary challenges presented by COVID-19 restrictions and shutdowns.”

“As we celebrate Trimble’s outstanding contributions, we extend our deepest gratitude for her vision, dedication, and impact,” said Summers. “The Chamber is well-positioned for continued success thanks to her years of service.”

Summers said the Chamber is launching a search for Trimble’s replacement, with a transition planned for early next year. The Chamber’s Board of Directors has initiated a transition plan to ensure a smooth leadership change and will announce next steps in the coming weeks.
