Placer County, Calif. – PEACE for Families (now Stand Up Placer) is pleased to announce that Robin Trimble, CEO of the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce, has joined our Board of Directors. Ms. Trimble, a longtime Rocklin resident and Rocklin Chamber CEO since 2005, brings her years of experience in both corporate and non-profit arenas to PEACE.
When asked what motivated her to join PEACE's Board of Directors, Ms. Trimble replied, "PEACE is an outstanding organization serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. I look forward to the opportunity to get the word out about PEACE in our community."
As CEO of the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Trimble oversees all facets of the organization, including staff management, government relations, fundraising, member recruitment and the operating budget. Prior to joining the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce, she worked in a variety of leadership positions for USAA Property and Casualty, including Claims Operations, oversight of the USAA Foundation for the Western Region, and Executive Management Roles. Ms. Trimble holds an MBA from Golden State University and a bachelor's degree from California State University, Sacramento.
Ms. Trimble has given time to numerous community organizations, including the United Way, Community Services Planning Council, Rocklin Educational Excellence Foundation and William Jessup University. She also established the Margaret Schonbeck Memorial Scholarship at Rocklin High School.

Stand Up Placer is dedicated to ending the legacy of abuse by providing survivors of domestic and sexual violence with services and resources and fostering communities where abuse is not tolerated. Stand Up Placer provides a 24-hour crisis line (800-575-5352), emergency domestic violence shelter, and service offices in Roseville and Auburn where victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families/significant others may receive therapy, legal advocacy, assistance and resources at no charge.
