Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe serves up smiles

“Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile”

South Lake Tahoe, Calif. / Stateline, Nev- A sailboat effortlessly glides in the distance across the emerald waters of Lake Tahoe, towering pines shimmer in the foreground as the lightly snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada frame the shot. Just below, music fans casually congregate poolside for some high altitude, summer fun.

Those first few moments peering out the top floor window at the Hard Rock Lake Tahoe would set the tone for our entire stay. Another epic adventure on tap as only Lake Tahoe can deliver.

Serving up positive vibes with rock n’ roll energy, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Lake Tahoe is a must stop for visitors and music fans making their way through the South Lake Tahoe area.

This gaming resort which opened in 2015 includes entertainment, lodging, food and fun all wrapped around many decades of rock n’ roll memorabilia. As much as the Hard Rock Lake Tahoe is a casino and hotel, it’s also a musical history museum loaded with incredible visuals, excerpts and stories only rock n’ roll can tell. Take some time to wander and explore, there’s more to the picture than meets the eye.

Memorabilia & Nostalgia

From a beautifully framed Grateful Dead Blues for Allah poster or sexy outfit worn by Christine Aguilera on tour there is plenty to see whatever color your musical stripes may be. With a nod to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, The King and the King of Pop are also represented here.  Each floor on the hotel presents a unique and large visual surprise upon your exit from the elevator.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino boasts over 500 rooms in addition to the vibrant gaming floor, restaurants and shops. Our room on the top floor offered spectacular and panoramic views of the lake and mountains. All the staff we engaged during our stay were welcoming and helpful.

Exploring is a must!

While there’s an abundance of fun to be had on the property, spending a little time at the beach is obligatory at this world famous destination. It’s a brief walk and you can even grab a drink beachside. Consider arriving just before sunset to catch the sun as it slowly melts below the mountainous horizon. Relax and soak it all in!

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Lake Tahoe always delivers a fun time on any trip to the South Lake Tahoe area. A lively atmosphere of entertainment, iconic memorabilia and those “oh so amazing” lake views. There really is nothing left to do by smile, smile, smile!
