Placer County Animal Services Center

Placer County Animal Services' mission is to promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of the animals and people in our community.

The $23 million state-of-the-art, 29,500 square foot facility opened its doors in October 2016 following over a decade of planning. The facility gave the county the ability to meet growing demand and to accomodate more than double the previous facility.
