TahoeSkiWorld.com Covers Lake Tahoe Ski Scene

Jeffrey Weidel has recently introduced a new website TahoeSkiWorld.com that provides stories, photos, videos and social media coverage of Lake Tahoe’s 15 diverse ski resorts.

“Although its content provides considerable variety, TahoeSkiWorld.com was designed specifically for extensive coverage of the Lake Tahoe ski resorts. The website content will interest both avid and recreational skiers and snowboarders.” said Weidel, who has previously operated ski websites for Examiner.com and Rivals.com.

For nearly two decades, Weidel has been delivering unique coverage of skiing and snowboarding for the picturesque Lake Tahoe region.

An award-winning writer, editor and veteran of 24 years in the newspaper business, Weidel has been an avid skier for nearly four decades.

Tahoe Ski World features:

  • Daily coverage of Lake Tahoe and California ski resorts
  • Feature stories on Lake Tahoe Olympic skiers and snowboarders
  • Ski and snowboard lesson information
  • Snow reports
  • Historical profiles on Lake Tahoe ski resorts and its founders
  • National issues facing the ski industry
  • Lake Tahoe lodging and restaurant information
  • Cross country skiing
  • Seasonal stories on travel and golf in Northern California
  • Facebook posts and information via Twitter
  • YouTube videos

Currently a Vice President for Halldin Public Relations in Rocklin, Calif., Weidel was previously a Sports Editor for several newspapers in the Sacramento region and served as a Senior Editor for Gold Country Media newspapers in Placer County.

TahoeSkiWorld.com will focus on the world-renowned ski resorts in Lake Tahoe – Heavenly Mountain, Squaw Valley and Northstar California – that are expansive resorts offering a wide variety of terrain for skiers and riders of all levels and abilities.

These large resorts also feature great amenities off the slopes as well, including ice skating, tubing, sledding, ski-in, ski-out lodging, and numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities.

But TahoeSkiWorld.com will also focus on the many family-friendly ski resorts, like Homewood Mountain, Diamond Peak, Tahoe Donner and Soda Springs. These smaller, less crowded, family-friendly resorts possess a certain charm and beauty that is reminiscent of a time when skiing was in its infancy.

TahoeSkiWorld.com will also offer coverage of cross country ski resorts and Nordic areas in the Lake Tahoe region, including Royal Gorge, one of the largest resorts in North America.
