Douglas Brauer's $10,000 contribution will help fund meals packed by more than 1,500 volunteers at the September event in Rocklin
Rocklin, Calif. – The upcoming 16th Annual Feed My Starving Children MobilePack announced today that local Financial Advisor Coach Douglas Brauer is sponsoring 35,000 meals that will be packed at the September MobilePack.
Mr. Brauer's contribution of $10,000 will cover the cost of the 35,000 meals, all of which will be shipped to help bring malnourished children around the world back to health.

This year's MobilePack is being held at Jessup University in Rocklin from Sept. 17-19 and more than 1,500 volunteers will help pack meals. The event is organized by St. Matthew Lutheran Church and volunteers.
"We greatly appreciate Doug's support for our 16th Annual MobilePack," said Bill Halldin, Chair of the event. "We are hoping to pack more than 400,000 meals this year during our three-day MobilePack and that wouldn't be possible without sponsors like Doug who help cover the costs of the meals we will pack."
Christian non-profit
The meals are scientifically designed by Feed My Starving Children, a Minnesota-based Christian non-profit that ships 390 million meals a year to children in need. Since its founding, Feed My Starving Children has packed and shipped more than 5 billion meals.
"I've been honored to join volunteers at prior MobilePacks to pack meals and help children in need," Mr. Brauer said. "The Feed My Starving Children MobilePack delivers life-saving meals to children in need and educates our community on the global hunger crisis. It's particularly impactful on the hundreds of young people who join in to pack these meals."
