Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel shines in San Francisco

Stylish comfort meets ultra-convenience at Fisherman’s Wharf

San Francisco, Calif. – Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel’s convenience and comfort make it an easy choice for visitors to San Francisco.

It’s been a several years since we’ve gone exploring San Francisco’s iconic Fisherman’s Wharf and Embarcadero. It’s impossible not to notice the many updates and modernization efforts taking place in this area of the City by the Bay.

Fall is a particularly splendid season to visit. Warmer weather and gentle breezes rolling off the Pacific are commonplace. Crystal clear skies present stunning views of the Golden Gate, the San Francisco skyline and many treasures of the Bay Area.

Autumn in San Francisco brings a little extra excitement to the air. Experience an infusion of vibrant fall colors along with the tastes and texture of the season while strolling the Wharf or meandering around Ghirardelli Square. The dynamic pulse of this magnificent city is irresistible year-round.

Where to Stay: Location, Location

For our stay, we checked into the Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel for what can only be described as wonderfully carefree, ultra- convenient and fun experience.

Located at 2500 Mason St, just a block off the waterfront, Sheraton’s location offers the best of both worlds – quick access to the hub of activity and an equally easy return to peace and quiet. With onsite underground parking, a visit to Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf Hotel is park and forget. Put on your walking shoes, hop the elevator to the lobby and off you go!

$30 Million Makeover

Recently completing $30 million in renovations, the Sheraton delivers a chic, urban experience in resort style and comfort. The Sheraton’s location makes it an ideal launching pad for forays around the waterfront.

Rejuvenate!

We love how easy it easy to spend time exploring this part of San Francisco with the ability to quickly return to the hotel for a quick break or some rejuvenation whenever the desire strikes.

Your day might begin off with a walk along the many waterfront shops and stops or a trolley ride and an Irish coffee at the iconic popular Buena Vista before making your way back to the Sheraton for a relaxing poolside visit. Fully restored, it’s time to take on the afternoon!

Northpoint Bar & Restaurant

Pier 39 and the Embarcadero are short jaunts from the hotel. As late afternoon hits, return to the Sheraton for your complimentary wine and beer tasting. Cozy up to the Northpoint Bar & Restaurant for some craft libations or settle in on the outdoor couches for conversation and people watching.

Salmon dinner at Northpoint Bar & Restaurant

Freshen up back at your room at head downstairs to Northpoint Restaurant for a delicious selection of seafood, small plates and tasty desserts. Executive Chef Robert Lyman has created a menu that left our taste buds delighted! The flavorful Quinoa and Arugula Salad followed by the scrumptious Citrus Pacific King Salmon were standouts. Arrive hungry as Northpoint serves up wonderfully generous portions!

Rooms

The Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf is a 4-story hotel, with some rooms delivering views more on par with what you might expect at a high-rise. Consider inquiring about room views prior to your stay.

The Sheraton offers spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with all the requisite amenities. Without question, our favorite was the floor to ceiling window allowing San Francisco to shine. Falling asleep as you gaze upon the evening skyline fully alight is special travel experience.
