Incline Village, NV- A quick, heavy blast of snow in late September caught us off guard as we sipped champagne while partially submerged in the swirling and soothing hot tub waters of Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. While mountain weather can be unpredictable like that, our visits to Hyatt properties are always a predictably welcoming experience, abundantly fun and filled with warm hospitality.
Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, an upscale resort, spa and casino is nestled along the magical northeast portion of the lake on the Nevada coastline in Incline Village. Located under an hour from Reno-Tahoe International and just over two hours from Sacramento International, reaching this world-class destination is easier than expected.

A large bay window presented us with stunning views of snow-capped mountain peaks and the bristling whitecaps churning on Lake Tahoe. An amazing night's rest in a luxurious bed and awakening to spectacular views is a postcard perfect escape!
Stillwater Spa & Salon
For those in need of rejuvenating body and mind, the lower level houses the Stillwater Spa & Salon offering a full range of spa services. Welcomed with a glass of champagne, we slipped into our swimsuits and donned the plush robes provided before heading into the hot tub just as the snow began to fall. A fun experience for sure. We also both loved the eucalyptus steam room!
Spa services are available both individually for men and women as well as packages for couples. Couples might wish to check out the Fireside Romance package!
Recreation Opportunities
Lake Tahoe is well known for all things sports. From the casual weekend warriors to full-on adrenaline junkies, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe is the perfect base for your adventures. Water sports and boating options from their private beach, bike rentals to more advance excursions all start here. Check the activities chalkboard in the lobby. TIP: Make the most of your adventures by tapping into the guest services staff's knowledge.
Grand Lodge Casino
Located just off the lobby is the Grand Lodge Casino. Stylish with a lodge-type vibe and a not-to-small, not-too- large feel, it's the perfect size for the resort. This full service casino includes an array of popular slots, table games, sports book and a requisite bar with poker slots.
Dining
From casual and quick to simply stunning, several dining options onsite are available for guests. Tahoe Provisions is a coffee shop slash bakery slash convenience store where you can grab a cup of Joe, quick bites or souvenirs. Sierra Café is a large, yet cozy café diner for anytime of the day. TIP: Breakfast buffet is a must and snag a spot by the fireplace is you can!
Lone Eagle Grille
The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe has its own private beach with spectacular views. One of the best ways to experience those views is at their lakefront restaurant, the Lone Eagle Grille. Every table in this restaurant appears to have fantastic views. If available, consider reserving a spot in the Eagle's Nest, a smaller circular style lakefront room that boasts panoramic views. Our senses were overwhelmed with delight.
Feasting on masterfully prepared octopus, King salmon and NY steak was a culinary treat. Attempting the famed Baked Tahoe for dessert is obligatory. Beware!
