Fundraiser for Kids at Catta Verdera in Lincoln
Lincoln, Calif. – The 5th Annual Tim Ching Memorial Golf Tournament is approaching fast, and the surprise is that there are still a few foursome slots open for those wanting to raise funds for children’s programs.

Again, this year, the tournament will be held at Catta Verdera Country Club, one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in the South Placer County area. The tournament will be June 15, 2026, with registration beginning at 8:30 am, with the shotgun start at 10:00 am.
“Our goal every year,” said Brian McLean, the Kiwanis coordinator for the tournament, “is to raise funds for children in need. There are many groups that help children, our job is to raise the funds for them to do the helping work.”
This tournament, put on by the Kiwanis Clubs of Roseville and Citrus Heights, raises money for more than a dozen charities and activities for children from the area. Such activities include police athletic leagues, cancer treatment, adoption services, girls’ and boys’ clubs, clothing for kids, scouting, Feeding the Foothills, and more.
It is a fun day with such contests as the longest drive, a putting contest, a closest to the pin contest and more. The course is located at 1111 Catta Verdera in Lincoln.
If you are interested in forming a foursome or being a sponsor, contact Brian McLean at [email protected] or call Brian at (916) 223-1042. The program also includes lunch, awards and a raffle.
