Loomis Soroptimist Hosts “It’s in the Bag” Designer Purse Fundraiser

January 28 Fundraiser at the Blue Goose Event Center

Loomis, Calif. – The It’s in the Bag designer purse fundraiser will be hosted by Soroptimist International of Loomis Basin (SILB) on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner, table games, door prizes and a chance to win designer purses.

Tickets are $50 and table sponsorships are available. The event will be held at the Blue Goose Event Center, 3550 Taylor Rd., Loomis from 6 to 8:30 p.m. (doors open at 5 p.m.) Go to the Loomis Soroptimist website for tickets and information.

Sponsorships

Businesses and community members can sponsor tables to support Soroptimist education programs and reach an audience of 240 women and the wider community online. Sponsors receive eight (8) event tickets, reserved table and other promotional benefits. Businesses and individuals can “Invest in Dreams” as a Purse Event Sponsor for $2,000; Swag Bag Sponsor for $1,500; Bar Sponsor for $1,000; Designer Purse Table Sponsor for $1,000; and Table Sponsor for $700. The club is also seeking donations or new or gently used designer purses for the fundraiser. Contact Chris Hebard-Summers at 916-652-0404 to give your purse to a good cause.

It’s in the Bag event tickets are $50 and can be purchased from Soroptimist members, through the Loomis Soroptimist website or at Hebard Insurance Solutions located at 3837 Taylor Road, Loomis (closed noon to 1 pm). Buy online, or with cash or check to “SILB.” Tickets include dinner by P&L Catering, bottled water, table games and door prizes. Alcoholic beverages and purse tickets will be sold separately.

Supporting Single Moms, Girls Programs, Education Projects

The Soroptimist It’s in the Bag fundraiser supports Soroptimist Live Your Dream awards for single mothers going back to school, the Soroptimist Dream It Be It career support for girls program at Confluence West High School and education projects impacting women and girls.
