Rocklin Golf Course headed for certain extinction
Sunset Whitney Golf Course went on the auction block today with the minimum bid set at 2.805 million. There were no bids, so the Golf Course is now owned by the bank. Or is it?
According to our sources, the bank has met it's legal obligation of a public auction and no bids were received. However, behind the scenes maneuvering indicate a possible bank sale of $2.8 million to another local area golf course owner. As of publication time, this has not been confirmed.
