Halldin Public Relations Welcomes Two New Associates

University of Oregon Grad, Former Local Radio Personality Join Roseville Firm

Roseville, Calif. – Halldin Public Relations announced today that Tracy Tierney, a graduate from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication, and Jeremy Burgess, a former radio personality with Salem Sacramento, have joined the firm and will serve as associates.

‘Both Jeremy and Tracy bring diverse journalism backgrounds, which will enhance the depth of services we provide clients,’ said Bill Halldin, principal of the firm.  ‘Their varied experiences will be a great asset to our team, and we’re happy to have them on board.’

Burgess has more than 15 years of experience in radio programming, promotions and copywriting.  Most recently, he was the assistant program director and an afternoon on-air personality at KKFS 103.9 ‘The Fish.’  Prior to that, Burgess held radio stints at KZZO and KNCI in Sacramento, and at KRST in Albuquerque, N.M.

“I”ve wanted to get into public relations for years,’ said Burgess, who lives in Roseville with his two daughters.  ‘And now I have the opportunity to take my radio expertise and apply it to the needs of Halldin clients.”

Tierney has been in public relations for more than four years.  Prior to joining Halldin, she worked in the consumer technology practice for public relations giant Fleishman-Hillard in San Francisco. During her time in Oregon, Tierney managed the on-campus agency Allen Hall Public Relations and helped coordinate media relations for the University of Oregon Athletic Department.  After graduating from college a year early, she decided to return to the Sacramento area where she grew up.  She resides in Roseville.

‘I’m honored to join Halldin Public Relations because I have heard nothing but positive things about the firm,’ she said. ‘I look forward to continuing the agency’s tradition of producing great results for our clients.’

Halldin Public Relations’ clients include Merrill Lynch, the California Chamber of Commerce, the Pacific Legal Foundation, the California Housing Finance Agency and American Technology Research.
