Updated: Suspect is in custody. Schools have lifted any lock down and parents may proceed to the normal pick up areas to pick up their children.
The homicide suspect is believed to be holed up in an apartment near Whitney High School. The school is on lockdown and PCSO and Rocklin Police have the apartment surrounded. Please stay clear of the area of Wildcat Blvd., near the high school.

One male shot in head and deceased, second victim at hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
