PG&E reported the following Rocklin power outages affecting up to 5,000 customers. The outage lasted just a few hours for some, while others are still without electricity into the early afternoon on Tuesday. Reports of local businesses and schools without electricity continue to filter in. PG&E has not yet confirmed all the cause or length of the power outages. On Wednesday evening, a PG&E official contacted our office to inform our readers that approximately 3,500 customers were affected and the cause was an equipment failure on Park Drive between Whitney and Crest Drive.
