Annual family event returns this December
Folsom, Calif. – Wild Nights & Holiday Lights, the beloved annual family tradition returns December 2025 for its 15th year, bringing back all the festive cheer visitors look forward to each holiday season!
The Folsom Zoo Sanctuary will once again be transformed into a glowing winter wonderland, illuminated by thousands of vibrant lights, shimmering ornaments, decorated trees, and whimsical lighted animal displays. Enjoy the warm sounds of the season as local carolers and musicians fill the sanctuary with holiday music.
Dates & Times
Folsom Zoo Wild Nights & Holiday Lights will be open from 5:00–8:30 p.m. on the following dates (weather permitting; heavy rain or strong winds will result in cancellation):
- December 5–7
- December 11–14
- December 18–22
All proceeds support the care and well-being of the zoo sanctuary animals.
Ticket Information
Ticket prices have increased 50% this year from and are now $15.22.

Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary
Established in 1963 to provide a safe haven for a bear cub named Smokey, who was orphaned and burned in a forest fire, the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary now provides a safe haven for dozens of rescued wild and domestic animals. It is located at 403 Stafford Street in Folsom City Lions Park.
