Roebbelen Welcomes New Owner

Local builder welcomes Rob McLean

Local builder Roebbelen is pleased to welcome Rob McLean as a new owner to the Roebbelen Management Team which already includes owners Terry Street, Ken DeBruhl, Dennis Daniell, Bob Kjome, and Dave Thuleen.  Mr. McLean has been a part of the Roebbelen team since 1996 and started out as a Project Manager.

In 2004 he was promoted to a Division Manager in charge of construction operations for the Construction Management Services Division.

As a Division Manager he oversees nine (9) school districts and one (1) county entity with a combined construction value of $200 million annually.

Mr. McLean graduated from UC Davis and has an MBA from Sacramento State University.  He is a graduate of the Carpenter's Union apprenticeship program and has over 16 years of construction related experience.  In addition, he is a member of the Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH) and the Association of California Construction Managers (ACCM).

Roebbelen provides general contracting, construction management, design build and value analysis services to clients.  Since 1959 over 150 public and private schools have trusted Roebbelen to provide construction services.  In 2005, Roebbelen was honored to receive the American Subcontractors Association (ASA) Contractor of the Year for the large category for the Sacramento Chapter.

The company has also been honored to receive the WCCC's Distinguished Project Award including St Francis High School of Sacramento in 2005, the Sunset Theater of Carmel-by-the-Sea in 2004 and the SBC/Pacific Bell's Statewide Billing Distribution Center in 2003.

Located in El Dorado Hills, CA, the company's other notable local projects include the California State Library and Courts Annex Building, and award winning projects Folsom High School, Whitney High School and Winchester Country Club.
