🎃Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival celebrates the Great and Almighty Gourd

World Famous Festival returns for 51st year

Half Moon Bay, Calif. – Searching for a HUGE autumn road trip adventure? The iconic Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival delivers California size thrills as it returns to celebrate 51 years this October 14 & 15, 2023.

Excitement is in the air and arriving early is always our preferred choice to enjoy a day of colorful and cool holiday festivities while avoiding some of the Highway 92 traffic. The Half Moon Bay forecast is expected to deliver a classic and crisp autumn weather experience!

The Great Pumpkin Parade kicks off at noon which is preceded by a costume contest at 10 am. The weekend includes a 5k and 10k run, pie eating, pumpkin carving, and nearly 300 artists and craftmakers showcasing their talents that include "gorgeous home décor accents and elegant fine art to cozy fall fashions and holiday gifts."

Music, Food & Drink

The Bay Area is a hotbed of creative talents and the Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival will help showcase music from across several genres, from folk, reggae, pop and more! Grab a wine or local craft brew along with a scrumptious array of pumpkin anything and everything along with classic festival favorites.
